A resident was built for Tsuruichi Tsurumaki, a principal of Kyoto school of advanced polytechnic (Kyoto University of Industrial Arts and Textile Fibers at present). It was made from Nakamura type ferroconcrete Seigo Motono, a professor of the same school; his own home also had been made from the same type. Inside the house, we can look at rich modeling features, a batik-print screen painted by Tsurumaki and Vienna atelier style furniture Motono etc. This is a masterpiece of the concrete block construction work.
