This RC building was built in the Second World War period, and the value of the hospital (with in-patient wards) existing to this day without changing its original function is very high. In terms of design, the building retains the freshness of modernist architecture, with the use of partly white mosaic tiles, rather than the scratch tiling seen in the pre-war period. An investigation into the builder, internal function and refurbishment history would be warranted.
