This was built simultaneously with the reconstruction of the headquarters of Rising Sun oil company, which was destroyed by the Great Kanto Earthquake. The building consists of four dwelling units "flat for the 10 stenographers". The second floor has 10 bedrooms, initially, likely to be used as a shared house for 10 stenographers. We can see the design works for developing a complete transition to modernism in beige exterior, green steel sash and assigning ways of tiles at parapet and sashes, etc.
