It is built using traditional Japanese elements, but with Murano's unique and highly original design. It can be said to be both commercially straightforward and artistic at the same time. Before the war, Murano learnt how to create architecture that would be popular with the public under Watanabe Bushi. The exterior of the New Kabuki-za reflects Murano's unique view of Osaka architecture.
