Because the site locates at the center of high fashionable area in Tokyo, architect Kazumasa Yamashita tried to design this architectural complex including shops, office and dwellings to be in a sense of human scale around small plaza, gallery, void space, and staircase, which can lead people to approach into the building. Such idea of environmental humanity originally came from a commercial producer, Yasuhiro Hamano to cooperate realizing with architect.
